Datorama Closes $15 Million Investment Led by Marker LLC and Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors

Unified Marketing Infrastructure to Expand Into New Markets

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 29, 2014) - More agencies and brands will soon improve their marketing decisions, thanks to a $15 million Series B investment in Datorama, whose transformation engine extracts enriched insights from omnichannel marketing data. The new financing, which was announced today, was led by Marker LLC and Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors. The other previous investor, Cedar Fund, also joined the round.

The funding follows a year of rapid growth. Datorama can onboard new partners within just a few hours, and in addition to the U.S., is already serving agencies and brands in Australia, France, Spain, the U.K., the Netherlands, Israel and Latin America.

"Datorama makes it easy for our firm to manage and optimize complex campaigns across brands and clients," said Kepler Group CEO Rick Greenberg, a Datorama customer. "Datorama also enables us to automate goals and KPI reporting, as well as to scale campaigns much more rapidly than we could before. Instead of four people on a reporting team, you can have one person up front and all the data comes through automatically."

"Datorama provides a seamless, comprehensive and lightning-fast platform that is easy for anyone to deploy and use," said Marker LLC Partner Rick Scanlon. "With Datorama, marketers are able to show meaningful improvements in top-line performance and unit economics, all without having to dedicate resources to pulling together and making sense of disparate data."

"This type of service was simply unavailable to marketing professionals before Datorama began offering it," said Marker LLC Partner Yuval Shachar. "That's the primary reason behind the company's extraordinary growth. We're thrilled to be a part of the Datorama team."

"We believe the marketplace needs an infrastructure to improve marketing decisions," said Innovation Endeavors Founding Managing Partner Dror Berman. "Datorama provides it. That's why Datorama has onboarded scores of agencies and hundreds of brands during the past year. We foresee even greater growth as more companies learn what Datorama can do."

While the company's engineering team keeps growing, it will use the new investment primarily to staff up in sales and marketing as it continues to expand into new markets.
