WASHINGTON (AP) -- Motorists in Delaware are paying two cents less at the pump when compared to a week ago.
AAA Mid-Atlantic said Sunday in a weekly report that the average price of a gallon of regular gas in Delaware was $3.47. That's compared to $3.49 a week ago.
Motorists in the region are paying slightly more than a year ago. At this time last year Delaware drivers were paying $3.43 per gallon.
The price of gas in the region is sixteen cents less than the national average. AAA says it expects lower prices as June continues.
