Poshmark is the largest online fashion marketplace, where people can sell their clothing and bid on discounted merchandise. The site features more than 5,000 brands, but not all items sell with the same frequency. To help you pinpoint the most in-demand items, Poshmark pulled the data from 3 million seller closets. What sells really depends on where you live.
On the West Coast, men are looking for Adidas jackets, Converse shoes, and Levi’s jeans. Meanwhile, women in states like Oregon and California are on the hunt for Lululemon tops, Free People dresses and Gucci bags.
Over on the East Coast, the in-demand brands are completely different. Men in the Northeast want discounts on Patagonia jackets, Nike shoes and True Religion jeans. Women are searching for deals on J.Crew tops, Zara dresses, and Michael Kors bags.
While demand varies from region to region, there are a few brands that everyone is looking for. According to Poshmark, Everlane, Hunter, David Yurman and Ray Ban are some of the most in-demand brands for women. For men, shoppers are looking for Hershel, Supreme, Barbour and Patagonia.
So keep a lookout for these brands if you’re sorting through gifts, or getting a jump on spring cleaning. That old jacket you’ve had for years could just be your next payday.
