The Canton, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of 4 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, came to 2 cents per share.
The retailer of big and tall apparel posted revenue of $122.6 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $2.3 million, or 5 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $450.3 million.
Destination XL expects full-year results to range from a loss of 14 cents per share to a loss of 6 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $470 million to $480 million.
The company's shares closed at $2.40. A year ago, they were trading at $4.98.
