COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) _ Diamond Hill Investment Group Inc. (DHIL) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $13.2 million.
The Columbus, Ohio-based company said it had earnings of $3.79 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $2.87 per share.
The investment company posted revenue of $33.5 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $33.5 million, which topped Street forecasts.
Diamond Hill Investment Group shares have declined roughly 6% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $140.95, a fall of 26% in the last 12 months.
