COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) _ Diamond Hill Investment Group Inc. (DHIL) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $11.4 million.
The company, based in Columbus, Ohio, said it had earnings of $3.35 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $2.83 per share.
The investment company posted revenue of $34.6 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $34.6 million, beating Street forecasts.
Diamond Hill Investment Group shares have declined nearly 9% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $136.36, a fall of 19% in the last 12 months.
