Did You Miss Air T's (NASDAQ:AIRT) 70% Share Price Gain?

In this article:

Air T, Inc. (NASDAQ:AIRT) shareholders might be concerned after seeing the share price drop 22% in the last quarter. While that's not great, the returns over five years have been decent. After all, the stock has performed better than the market (62%) in that time, and is up 70%. While the long term returns are impressive, we do have some sympathy for those who bought more recently, given the 35% drop, in the last year.

By comparing earnings per share (EPS) and share price changes over time, we can get a feel for how investor attitudes to a company have morphed over time.

During the last half decade, Air T became profitable. That would generally be considered a positive, so we'd expect the share price to be up.
