Discovery Minerals Secures First JV Hemp Growing Partner.
RENO, NV--(Marketwired - Mar 26, 2014) - Discovery Minerals Ltd. (OTC Pink: DSCR) (PINKSHEETS: DSCR) is pleased to update shareholders that the Company has secured its first joint venture growing partner. The growing partner, located in the Municipal District of Wainwright No.61, in the province of Alberta, has provided Discovery with a firm commitment for the exclusive purpose of cultivation of Industrial Hemp, Grain, Fiber and byproducts. Negotiations with other growers will continue.
Now that the first growing partner has been secured, the Company will commence the application process for an Industrial Hemp License and expects to file with Health Canada, the governing and issuing body, as early as next week. The Company's decision to apply for the Industrial Hemp license allows for additional growers to be added under the provisions of the license and firmly establishes Discovery's position in the growing, processing and sales sectors of the industry.
The company intends to update shareholders as it adds additional growers and as notable advances in these projects are made.
