Disney unveils first look at Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil
Thanks to this weekend's fan convention D23 Expo, we have our first look at Emma Stone in Disney's live-action 101 Dalmatians prequel, Cruella.
The Zombieland 2: Double Tap actress has been attached to this project for three years now, so it's been a long wait to see her hustle those gorgeous Dalmatians.
It has to be said though, she looks every bit as menacing as we'd hoped, with the picture revealing a bonus sneak peek at her criminal associates Jasper and Horace too.

In a Twitter announcement, the Walt Disney Studios team also confirmed the release date for the movie, sharing: "Here's your first look at Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil in Disney's Cruella. The film, also starring Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Joel Fry, comes to theaters May 28, 2021. #D23Expo".
Oscar-winner Thompson obviously needs no introduction, but for readers unfamiliar with Hauser's work, he's cropped up in comedy favourite Community and Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman.
Meanwhile, Fry starred in eight episodes of HBO's fantasy epic Game of Thrones.
Cruella has previously been described as having an "80s punk vibe" and the featured imagery certainly goes along with that. But the real question remains: will the soundtrack be crammed full of The Clash and Ramones music? Time will tell.
Cruella lands in cinemas on May 28, 2021.
