BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (AP) _ Diversicare Healthcare Services Inc. (DVCR) on Thursday reported a second-quarter loss of $311,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Brentwood, Tennessee-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and to account for discontinued operations, came to 1 cent per share.
The long-term care services provider posted revenue of $141.1 million in the period.
Diversicare Healthcare shares have decreased 31 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $6.86, a drop of 27 percent in the last 12 months.
