The spiritual revolution may not be televised, but its red carpet will at least be live-streamed. Marvel will be broadcasting directly from the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of Doctor Strange on Thursday, letting fans check in on the event from the comfort of their own laptops.
The live stream, sponsored by Kabam's Marvel Contest of Champions mobile game, will be hosted by Marvel.com's Lorraine Cink and Tamara Krinsky. Guests scheduled to appear include the movie's stars - Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton - as well as Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
Marvel's stream will be broadcast on three channels - on Marvel.com, the company's Facebook page and also on Twitter - starting at 6 p.m. PT. Heat Vision also will be in attendance, so stay tuned for scoops from the red carpet.
For those unexcited by the prospect of a premiere live stream and are waiting for the actual movie, Doctor Strange is set to be released Nov. 4 in the U.S.
