TORONTO (AP) _ Dominion Diamond Corp. (DDC) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $31.9 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Toronto-based company said it had profit of 39 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 20 cents per share.
The diamond mining company posted revenue of $239.8 million in the period.
Dominion Diamond expects full-year revenue in the range of $895 million to $955 million.
Dominion Diamond shares have climbed 46 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $14.12, an increase of 59 percent in the last 12 months.
