Donald Trump Jr. turns 40 in two weeks, and is celebrating with a cookie featuring an image meant to be former president Barack Obama.
"With friends like these... some good friends decided that while my birthday is not for 2 weeks that they would get me an early 40th birthday cake," President Trump's eldest son wrote in his caption. "And what birthday is complete without an Obama cake? I figured it was so good that I would have to share it with Ted."
The image shows Donald Trump Jr. posing with Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, and the image's location is featured as Le Bilboquet in Dallas, Texas.
Some on Twitter were quick to criticize and comment on the social media post.
"Do you know how hard it is to be worse at smiling than Ted Cruz," one user wrote.
"You know @tedcruz is a uuuuge racist because he’s posing with Trumpy 'if I only had more than a lone brain cell' Junior and this deeply racist picture of Obama," another user shared. "I am so beyond disgusted. You are both appalling."

Restaurant owner of Le Bilboquet in Dallas later took the opportunity to voice his concern over the post, saying he and other restaurant members "feel betrayed and sad."
