WESTMOUNT, Quebec (AP) _ Dorel Industries Inc. (DIIBF) on Thursday reported a loss of $443.9 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Westmount, Quebec-based company said it had a loss of $13.68. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 31 cents per share.
The maker of bicycles, child safety products and home furnishings posted revenue of $683.5 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $444.3 million, or $13.70 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $2.62 billion.
Dorel Industries shares have decreased 7 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 52 percent in the last 12 months.
