WESTMOUNT, Quebec (AP) _ Dorel Industries Inc. (DIIBF) on Wednesday reported a loss of $639,000 in its fourth quarter.
The Westmount, Quebec-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 7 cents per share.
The maker of bicycles, child safety products and home furnishings posted revenue of $653.4 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $10.5 million, or 32 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $2.63 billion.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.89. A year ago, they were trading at $12.27.
