WESTMOUNT, Quebec (AP) _ Dorel Industries Inc. (DIIBF) on Thursday reported a loss of $22.9 million in its fourth quarter.
The Westmount, Quebec-based company said it had a loss of 70 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 55 cents per share.
The maker of bicycles, child safety products and home furnishings posted revenue of $704.4 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $43.4 million, or $1.34 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.76 billion.
Dorel Industries shares have dropped 8% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen fivefold in the last 12 months.
