$4 Billion in 2017 Total Sales Volume in California; Up 16 Percent Year-Over-Year
Douglas Elliman Total Sales Volume Tops $26.1 Billion, an Uptick of Six Percent
BEVERLY HILLS, Calf., March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- On February 28th, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the fourth-largest residential real estate company nationwide, hosted the firm's world-class agents in California at its annual awards celebration – The Ellies. One of several Ellies events held around the country, the ceremony honored top performers in Los Angeles, Monterey, Orange, San Diego, and Santa Barbara Counties, as well as the tremendous growth for Douglas Elliman in the state. In 2017, the company's total sales volume in California was $4 billion, up 16 percent year-over-year. Nationwide, Douglas Elliman's total sales volume was $26.1 billion.
Douglas Elliman's California footprint expanded in 2017 with the acquisition of Teles Properties. The brokerage also opened an office in Malibu and expanded its new development division. The top three sales of the year were priced between $24 and $25 million.

In Beverly Hills / El Camino, The Altman Brothers Team was named the firm's Top Team. They were followed by The Tracy Tutor Maltas Team (#2), The O'Reilly Barnao Gottainer Gershunoff Team (#3), and The Ivan Estrada Team (#4).
The award for Top Individual Agent went to Juliette Hohnen. Other winners in this category included Dena Luciano (#2), Bachir Oueida (#3), Michelle Oliver (#4), Scott Segall (#5), Gina Dickerson (#6), Connie Blankenship (#7), Natalie Elias (#8), Craig White (#9), and Troy Gregory (#10).
From Teles Legacy, The Top Ten Teams were led by The Ernie Carswell Team, and also included The Ruth Pugh Team (#2), The Alison McCormick Team (#3), The Chad Lund Team (#4), The Kristin Halton Team (#5), The Pegi Dirienzo Team (#6), The Heather Roy-Learka Bosnak Team (#7), The Rowe-Tzadik Team (#8), The Stavros Team (#9), and The Dave Werth Team (#10).
The Top Ten Individual Agents from Teles were led by Melissa Alt and also included Scott Lyle (#2), Eli Karon (#3), Andrew Karigan (#4), Marci Baron (#5), Natalie Cadoch (#6), Stacy Blair Young (#7), Elizabeth Puro (#8), Josef Szigeti (#9), and Donna Baker (#10).
Sam Shakerchi, based out of Beverly Hills, was named Top Commercial Agent in California and Cory Charlupski, also based out of Beverly Hills, took home the award for California's Rookie of the Year.
