Drag Queen Judas Joe Manson Just Transformed Into Lady Gaga and We’re Still Recovering
Lady Gaga’s image is, to be quite honest, the stuff of legends. And all her Little Monsters more than agree. But, like, has anyone ever really tried to copy the pop star’s iconic lewk? Thankfully, Judas Joe Manson is up to the task.
This full-scale Gaga impersonator goes all out to include choreography, props, and backup dancers in her sets—and today on Cosmo Queens, she’s treating us to a behind-the-scenes look at how she steps into character. And it’s f*cking incredible, if I do say so myself.
To transform into Mother Monster, Judas goes heavyyy on the contour to match her face. She sweeps the contour stick around her temples and jawline and then brightens up the highest points of the face with a lighter shade. Next, Judas hits them angles with diagonal contour lines along the cheekbones and jawline and adds a white line down the middle of her nose. She softens it all by blending the edges. But honey, do not sacrifice an ounce of definition.
To set the look, Judas comes in HOT with white face powder (we don’t care how cute you are, nobody’s here for shine!). To set like Judas, apply the powder generously all over before topping it off with bronzer to redefine your cheekbones.
Now, with the face on point, Judas brings our attention to the eyes. She starts with drawing a darker neutral arch underneath the natural brow, before filling in the rest of the eyelid with white shadow and a top coat of glitter (obviously). Next, watch her use the black liquid eyeliner to create a thick, thick, thick defined wing and extend the brow line out to meet it.
