POLKTON TWP. — A single-car rollover crash resulted in injuries to a Muskegon man and four passengers under the age of 10 years old.
Deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a crash shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, on I-96 near 80th Avenue in Polkton Township
Upon arrival, deputies learned a 2007 Honda, driven by a 41-year-old Muskegon man, lost control while traveling west on I-96. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle ran off the roadway before rolling and coming to rest.
One of the passengers was ejected while the vehicle rolled. All occupants were taken to Spectrum Butterworth and DeVos Children's Hospital and were in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, including the passenger that was ejected.
The incident remains under investigation.
