How DSG Will Redefine Advertising Revenue for the Golf Sports Industry

"This is a very important milestone for us," said Adrian Fulle, Chief Marketing Technologist. "This is a new source of revenue for us and for our client courses that goes straight to the bottom line. We already have the network in place on courses and now we can begin driving revenue."
DSG's R3 advertising revenue program, which was officially announced at the PGA Merchandise show in Orlando this past February, promises to revolutionize the way advertising is delivered and displayed on golf cart touch screens, clubhouse monitors and any other screens that display advertising on golf courses.
The R3 program delivers advanced ROI (Revenue Optimization Intelligence). Utilizing all streams of advertising delivery - automated, direct, self-serve - the R3 program optimizes revenue potential. The intelligence behind the R3 program is in its unique ability to deliver relevant advertising to golfers the moment they sit in the cart.
"The most important thing here is that for the first time ever, golf courses are finally going to see real revenue," added Fulle. "And they won't have to lift a finger to do it."
DSG currently has a network of over 3,000 screens globally and that number is growing every day. DSG expects the advertising revenue for golf courses that opt into the R3 program will grow rapidly in the first year, effectively off-setting most, or all of the courses' cost of leasing the DSG TOUCH system.
DSG's engineering team has been working for nearly a year with a select group of advertising technology partners to develop and launch the R3 program.
"We've taken our time to get it right," said Clint Singer, Lead Software Engineer at DSG. "After this Certification phase, we field test and after that we roll out the program across our entire network."
Fulle added: "In advertising, the most important thing now is that we deliver the right ad to the right person at the right time. And that's what R3 does. This will be a first for golf sports advertising and will be a revenue driver for courses."
