Dunkin’ Donuts decided to introduce an entire menu of snack-worthy staples to a test audience in Boston, introducing them as part of a “$2 Snacking Menu,” according to reports from The Boston Globe. The breakfast chain will be competing against other fast-food restaurants’ dollar menus.

In addition to the donut fries, the menu also includes other curious confections like “Munchkin dippers,” waffle-breaded chicken tenders, pretzel bites and gluten-free brownies.

“The snacking menu features several new sweet and savory items that pair perfectly with Dunkin’ Donuts’ signature beverages and are ideal for an energizing afternoon break,” a Dunkin’ Donuts spokeswoman told The Boston Globe.

Many donut fry early adopters were pleasantly surprised with Dunkin’s latest creation. Although the internet widely considered the sugar-coated creation to be a “gentrified churro,” tasters agreed the sweet sticks of dough really hit the spot — the only thing they seem to be missing is a dipping sauce.

Non-New Englanders, rejoice: The company will gather feedback from customers, franchisees and employees during the testing stage, and the spokeswoman teased “a possible national rollout” in the future. These sweet and savory treats might be coming to a Dunkin’ Donuts near you.
