Dutch must keep strong trade ties with Britain after Brexit - parliament report

AMSTERDAM, March 21 (Reuters) - The Netherlands should keep tight trade ties with Britain after London leaves the European Union, a report commissioned by the Dutch parliament said on Tuesday.

The report, intended to look at the impact of Brexit from a Dutch perspective, said Britain was the Netherlands' second largest trading partner, accounting for 9 percent of exports.

"Any restriction on free trade with Britain would inevitably be at the cost of Dutch exports, prosperity and employment," it said.
