EMERYVILLE, Calif. (AP) _ Dynavax Technologies Corp. (DVAX) on Wednesday reported a loss of $33.5 million in its third quarter.
The Emeryville, California-based company said it had a loss of 49 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 40 cents per share.
The biopharmaceutical company posted revenue of $10.6 million in the period.
Dynavax Technologies shares have dropped 43% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $5.23, a decline of 55% in the last 12 months.
