GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) _ Eagle Point Credit Co. (ECC) on Wednesday reported earnings of $45 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Greenwich, Connecticut-based company said it had net income of $1.93. Earnings, adjusted for investment gains, came to 36 cents per share.

The management investment company posted revenue of $16.6 million in the period.

Eagle Point shares have increased 24% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 3% in the last 12 months.
