Echo Automotive Highlights EchoDrive at NTEA Truck Show With Full Size Chassis Display

INDIANAPOLIS, IN--(Marketwire - Mar 6, 2013) - Echo Automotive, Inc. ( OTCQB : ECAU ) ("Echo Automotive," "Echo" or the "Company"), a developer of technologies enabling the cost effective conversion of existing fleet vehicles into fuel efficient hybrids and plug-in hybrids, is excited to announce the development of the first ever, detailed and full-size EchoDrive Chassis display which is making its inaugural debut this week at the NTEA (National Truck Equipment Association) Show in Indianapolis, Indiana.

"We have been anticipating the commercial release of our technology and wanted to display it in a way that can be easily conveyed to our customers," explains President of Echo Automotive, Jason Plotke. He further adds, "Our chassis display is an actual vehicle that has been stripped down to the frame and transformed into the ultimate display showcasing our product and just how easily EchoDrive mounts to the vehicle."

The donor vehicle, which was a 2007 Ford E250 van with almost 400,000 miles on it, exemplifies the ability for the EchoDrive system to not only fit onto new vehicles, but also onto older fleet vehicles just as easily, thereby providing an ideal solution for multiple model years within a company's fleet. The chassis display also highlights the overall ease of installation of the EchoDrive kit and demonstrates how it integrates with the existing vehicle architecture.

"The NTEA Show is the ideal event for introducing the EchoDrive System, as well as for debuting our Chassis Display especially as it clearly highlights all 3 of the main electric vehicle components we add to the vehicle," explains Amy Dobrikova, VP of Sales & Marketing at Echo Automotive. "The entire fleet industry attends the NTEA Show, with attendees ranging from fleet executives and operators, to leasing companies and upfitters. We could not have introduced this display at a more ideal event."

In addition to the static exhibit, attendees can actually experience EchoDrive in action, by participating in the Green Truck Ride & Drive segment which offers an actual E250 EchoDrive Demonstrator vehicle available during the scheduled event.

Echo Automotive is exhibiting at the NTEA Show at its annual home in the Indianapolis, Indiana Convention Center, March 6-8th. The show has over 500 exhibitors and regularly achieves over 10,000 attendees with exhibitors specializing in products and services targeted at commercial fleet operators and the work truck industry. While there is lots to see, the Company invites show attendees to ensure they plan ahead to visit booth #633 to meet with Echo Automotive's team in order to find out more about the exciting future of EchoDrive.
