ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) _ EchoStar Corp. (SATS) on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $111.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Englewood, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of $1.17 per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, came to 1 cent per share.
The seller of set-top boxes and provider of satellite services to Dish Network posted revenue of $530.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $40.5 million, or 42 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $2.09 billion.
EchoStar shares have climbed 19 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 27 percent in the last 12 months.
