Employers Holdings: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

RENO, Nev. (AP) _ Employers Holdings Inc. (EIG) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $64 million.

The Reno, Nevada-based company said it had net income of $2.19 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.46 per share.

The provider of workers-compensation insurance posted revenue of $191.1 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $119.8 million, or $3.97 per share. Revenue was reported as $711.4 million.

Employers Holdings shares have climbed 1% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $32.57, a fall of 27% in the last 12 months.
