VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Endeavour Silver Corp. (EXK) on Monday reported a first-quarter loss of $13.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 2 cents per share.
The silver mining company posted revenue of $29.1 million in the period.
The company's shares closed at $2.13. A year ago, they were trading at $2.86.
