DUBLIN (AP) _ Endo International PLC (ENDP) on Thursday reported a loss of $173.2 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Dublin-based company said it had a loss of 77 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and asset impairment costs, came to 71 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 59 cents per share.
The health care company posted revenue of $745.5 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $696.9 million.
Endo expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.65 to $2.75 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.87 billion to $2.92 billion.
Endo shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
