BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) _ Endurance International Group Holdings Inc. (EIGI) on Tuesday reported a loss of $3.5 million in its first quarter.

The Burlington, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 3 cents per share.

The provider of cloud-based technology services posted revenue of $280.7 million in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $283 million.

Endurance International expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.12 billion to $1.14 billion.

Endurance International shares have fallen roughly 6% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 15% in the last 12 months.
