DALLAS (AP) _ EnLink Midstream LLC (ENLC) on Tuesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $61.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Dallas-based company said it had a loss of 34 cents.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 17 cents per share.
The natural gas company posted revenue of $2.06 billion in the period, which also missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.12 billion.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $13.2 million, or 7 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $7.7 billion.
EnLink Midstream shares have increased 20 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $11.40, a fall of 32 percent in the last 12 months.
