PETALUMA, Calif. (AP) _ Enphase Energy Inc. (ENPH) on Tuesday reported a loss of $13.2 million in its fourth quarter.
The Petaluma, California-based company said it had a loss of 21 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and restructuring costs, were 15 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 13 cents per share.
The solar technology company posted revenue of $90.6 million in the period, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $93.5 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $67.5 million, or $1.34 per share. Revenue was reported as $322.6 million.
For the current quarter ending in April, Enphase Energy said it expects revenue in the range of $60 million to $65 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $1.79. A year ago, they were trading at $2.33.
