PLYMOUTH, Minn. (AP) _ Entellus Medical Inc. (ENTL) on Tuesday reported a loss of $7.3 million in its fourth quarter.
The Plymouth, Minnesota-based company said it had a loss of 39 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 35 cents per share.
The maker of devices used to treat sinusitis posted revenue of $21.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $28.7 million, or $1.53 per share. Revenue was reported as $75.2 million.
For the current quarter ending in April, Entellus said it expects revenue in the range of $19 million to $20 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $86 million to $90 million.
Entellus shares have declined 10 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $17.08, dropping slightly in the last 12 months.
