Entone Lands Ukraine's Largest Cable Operator

CUPERTINO, CA--(Marketwire - Mar 26, 2013) - Entone, Inc., a leading provider of Hybrid TV and Connected Home solutions, announced today that leading Ukrainian cable operator Volia has selected the Entone platform for delivering Hybrid TV services. Technology consulting firm Azdio is serving as overall system integrator on the project.

Volia, Ukraine's largest cable operator, serves over 1.9 million customers across a footprint of over 29 cities, delivering advanced TV and Internet services. With this deployment, Volia adds Hybrid TV to its history of innovation with a track record that includes being the first cable company in Eastern Europe to launch DOCSIS Internet services. Volia's new TV platform enables advanced TV services to be offered off-net to new target subscribers over broadband while also enhancing the features and services offered to existing Volia subscribers.

Entone's Hybrid TV platform enables Volia to seamlessly combine the best of traditional broadcast services with enhanced IP services such as Web VOD, cloud DVR, and catch-up TV.
