ESPN’s Zach Lowe, Adrian Wojnarowski express doubts regarding a Bradley Beal-Jaylen Brown swap.

If you thought you were on an island when it came to not wanting to trade All-Star forward Jaylen Brown for reportedly vaguely disgruntled Washington Wizards All-NBA shooting guard Bradley Beal, you actually happen to be in some good company as far as well-known NBA analysts go.

Speaking on ESPN on a recent panel assembled to discuss the future of the aforementioned Wizards star (and good friend of Celtics star Jayson Tatum), analysts Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe discussed exactly this possibility, with Woj appearing to agree with Lowe on the unlikeliness of a Beal for Brown swap taking place.

“Is Boston going to offer Jaylen Brown?” queried Lowe as Wojnarowski shook his head in the negative. “I don’t think so.”

“I think there’s not much point in giving up one star for another if you’re Boston,” added the ESPN analyst (h/t to Forbes Sports’ Chris Grenham for the find).

And while plenty of ink has already been spilled on whether such a player as Beal might be possible to get on the team without a blockbuster trade, as far as swapping one of Boston’s star wings for Beal, we have to agree.
