BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) _ Everbridge Inc. (EVBG) on Monday reported a loss of $12.9 million in its third quarter.
The Burlington, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 39 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, were 4 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 6 cents per share.
The software developer posted revenue of $52.5 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $51.4 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, Everbridge expects its per-share earnings to range from 4 cents to 5 cents.
The company expects full-year results to range from a loss of 22 cents per share to a loss of 21 cents per share.
Everbridge shares have climbed 19% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $67.40, an increase of 30% in the last 12 months.
