Target sees your love of Mrs. Meyers hand soap and raises it: Just in time for Earth Day, they dropped a full line of natural home and cleaning products. The very aesthetically pleasing Everspring line rolled out online and in stores Monday, April 22 with dozens of different products from cleaning wipes to dish detergent to candles. More items will continue to be added to the line throughout the year.

Per a press release, the in-house essentials brand is "up to Earth's standards" thanks to products made with biobased or recycled materials or natural fiber and packaged in bottles made with 50 percent or more recycled content. Scented products are made with natural scents and essential oils like lavender, citrus, basil, and geranium.

The products are all "Target Clean" approved, meaning they're made without chemicals like phthalates and propyl-paraben that are often found in cleaning products. According to the FDA, it's not clear what effect, if any, phthalates have on human health, but they are monitoring levels in cosmetic products for potential health hazards.

As with most things at Target, the new line is budget-friendly-items range from $2.79 to $11.99 each, with the most expensive being an 100-fluid ounce container of laundry detergent. Christina Hennington, Target's senior vice president and general merchandise manager, said in a press release prices are nearly 20 percent less than comparable brands. In some cases, it's even more: Meyer's 12.5-ounce hand soap costs $7.89 at Target; Everspring's 12-ounce hand soap is just $2.79.
