Evite Launches Parenthood Journey Category with Invitation Templates for Celebrating Different Paths to Starting a Family
With the launch comes a partnership with Kellee Stewart, actress and fertility advocate, to bring awareness to the variety of fertility celebrations

According to Pew Research Center, a third of all U.S. adults have used fertility treatments or know someone who has, and according to the Adoption Network, one out of every 25 families with children have an adopted child, all highlighting the major shift in the way people plan for and build their families. Additionally, 1 in 5 pregnancies end in a pregnancy loss, yet, there are limited options on the market for people who want to celebrate or honor their IVF treatments, adoption journeys, or their “Rainbow Baby,” which is the birth of a baby after a pregnancy loss. Evite is acknowledging this gap in invitation offerings for this category and worked to provide a solution.
As part of the launch, Evite partnered with Kellee Stewart, actress, writer, producer, and fertility advocate who often shares her own experience with egg freezing and IVF in an effort to bring awareness to a topic that’s not regularly discussed. Kellee spent years attending baby showers and supporting new mothers, when she ultimately decided to throw herself an egg shower. She encourages others to celebrate their journey to parenthood by bringing support systems together to assist with the costs of fertility treatments, which are not covered by insurance. As part of the partnership, Kellee helped design the artwork for an egg shower invitation, now available on Evite’s site.

This launch comes ahead of National Infertility Awareness Week® taking place April 23–29, which aims to raise awareness about infertility and the barriers that too many face when trying to build a family. Evite aims to break ground with parenthood journey celebrations by encouraging users to explore this exciting new category and expand the traditional baby shower.
