Evolving Systems Announces a Major Enhancement to Its Dynamic SIM Allocation(TM) (DSA) Solution

New Features Broaden DSA With Full-Lifecycle SIM and Number Management Capabilities

ENGLEWOOD, CO--(Marketwired - Jul 10, 2014) - Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a leader in activation, enablement and management of services for connected devices worldwide, today announced the latest addition to the Company's flagship Dynamic SIM Allocation™ (DSA) product.

Total Number Management™ (TNM), a major new component of DSA, offers carriers a complete SIM and number lifecycle management solution encompassing number inventory, SIM card ordering and supply, number selection, dynamic activation, and number recycling. It enables service providers to reliably and efficiently manage their entire number resource inventory.

TNM builds on the existing number selection and allocation capabilities which have proven to be a key feature of DSA and a competitive differentiator for the Company's carrier customers, enabling them to allow their subscribers to choose a number at the time of SIM card activation. DSA with TNM manages the carrier's entire number inventory, giving more choice to subscribers and also ensuring the carrier can match number availability and SIM ordering with subscriber demand.

TNM can also be implemented as a stand-alone solution. As a state-of-the-art Number Management solution, TNM includes support for all numbering-related requirements faced by carriers today including: numbers for M2M devices, regulatory reporting, MVNO enablement, number portability integration, and support for fraud management processes.

Evolving Systems will also begin offering a Number Reclamation Service to network operators that leverages the Company's number management technology and expertise. Carriers will be able to engage Evolving Systems to analyze and recover numbers from dormant SIMs, and optimize their number range utilization. This new service offering is especially key in high mobile growth markets as regulators focus on efficient management of mobile numbers and the risk of mobile number shortages resulting from increased use of connected and M2M devices.

"Number availability is quickly becoming a critical issue for network operators facing shortages created by the explosion of M2M and connected devices on their networks," said Thad Dupper, Chairman and CEO. "Evolving Systems' Total Number Management solution and Number Reclamation Service can dramatically reduce a carrier's number usage and reclaim inactive numbers making them available for reuse."
