Ex-Pep Boys executive named LeapFrog CFO

EMERYVILLE, Calif. (AP) -- LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. said Monday that it has named former Pep Boys and Toys R Us executive Ray Arthur to be the educational toy maker's chief financial officer.

Arthur held the chief financial officer post at auto parts retailer The Pep Boys Manny, Moe & Jack from 2008 until earlier this year. Before that, he held the same role at Toys R Us from 2004 to 2006.

LeapFrog shares finished regular trading down 36 cents, or 3.3 percent, at $10.49. The stock slipped a penny to $10.48 in after-hours trading.
