BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) _ Exa Corp. (EXA) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $334,000, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Burlington, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of 2 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 5 cents per share.
The maker of performance simulation software for vehicle manufacturers posted revenue of $19.5 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $1.1 million, or 8 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $72.6 million.
For the current quarter ending in May, Exa said it expects revenue in the range of $16 million to $17 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $75 million to $80 million.
Exa shares have climbed 2 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $15.69, an increase of 38 percent in the last 12 months.
