Exclusive first look: Bellamy Young and Scott Foley have Scandal reunion on Whiskey Cavalier

Mellie Grant and Jake Ballard are together again!

Bellamy Young and Scott Foley are having a mini-Scandal reunion when Young guest stars on Foley’s new ABC dramedy Whiskey Cavalier, and we’ve got your exclusive first look. The series follows Foley’s Will Chase, code name: Whiskey Cavalier, an FBI agent who finds himself in a love-hate relationship when circumstances force him to team up with mysterious CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan).

Whiskey Cavalier officially premieres on ABC on Wednesday, Feb. 27, but viewers can get a sneak preview of the series when the pilot airs Sunday, Feb. 24, immediately following the Oscars.

Young guest stars in the show’s second episode, which airs Wednesday, March 6, as Karen Pappas, the widow of a nefarious Greek shipping magnate. Will (Foley) is tasked with seducing Young’s character as part of their core mission.

Titled “The Czech List,” the episode follows the newly formed Whiskey team on their first official mission in Prague. Will must seduce the widow of a late shipping tycoon in an effort to access a list of criminal clients, but Frankie is less than convinced about his seduction abilities when it comes to a grieving woman.

Describing the series as “Mission Impossible crashes into Cheers,” creator David Hemingson previously told EW, “It’s a great balancing act that we’re in the midst of, which is intrigue and romance and topicality and fun and adventure and love. That’s what we’re trying to embrace in the show.”

Whiskey Cavalier premieres at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27 on ABC.
