QUEBEC CITY (AP) _ Exfo Inc. (EXFO) on Tuesday reported a fiscal first-quarter loss of $7.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Quebec City-based company said it had a loss of 14 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 5 cents per share.
The telecommunications testing company posted revenue of $69.2 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in March, Exfo said it expects revenue in the range of $70 million to $75 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $3.10. A year ago, they were trading at $4.41.
