Anheuser-Busch has announced the release of its latest citrus innovation, Bud Light Lemon Tea, and it's about to overshadow your Bud Light Lime obsession. Per the press release, the light lager is brewed with real lemon peels, aged tea leaves, and has an authentic zesty flavor.
Though the official launch is set for April 29, a number of customers have already gotten their hands on the brew, so you might want to start checking the grocery aisle. According to vice president of marketing Andy Goeler, the brand is hoping the limited-edition drink's "unique taste profile" will draw a new crowd to the Bud Light Family.
It looks like they're accomplishing just that because fans are already freaking out on social media. "THIS is how a lemon tea beer should taste," one user wrote, while another added, "tastes like summer and sunshine."

"As the number one selling beer in America, it is important for us to continue to innovate and bring consumers the types of products they are demanding," Goeler continued in the statement: "We saw the success of Bud Light Lime and Orange last summer and wanted to bring another beer into our portfolio."
Earlier this year, the company began printing a comprehensive list of ingredients on the label in an effort to promote transparency. As part of their continued initiative, the Bud Light Lemon Tea bottles will include all ingredients and serving facts. Plus, the brand promises no artificial flavors or corn syrup.
The 4.2 percent ABV beer is available in bottles and slim cans, and will remain in-stores through September. Enjoy.
