Farmer Brothers: Fiscal 4Q Earnings Snapshot

NORTHLAKE, Texas (AP) _ Farmer Brothers Co. (FARM) on Tuesday reported a loss of $8.8 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.

The Northlake, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 52 cents per share.

The coffee and tea company posted revenue of $142.1 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $73.6 million, or $4.36 per share. Revenue was reported as $595.9 million.

Farmer Brothers shares have fallen 40% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $14, a decrease of 50% in the last 12 months.
