Fik-Shun’s ‘World Of Dance’ Cuts Performance Released

Fik-Shun will be gracing the “World of Dance” Season 1 stage for the third time on Tuesday night.

NBC dropped a sneak peek of Fik-Shun’s performance in the hit dance reality TV competition’s second cuts installment. The “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 10 winner is one of the four upper contestants vying for a spot in the divisional finals. Unfortunately, only two of the four contestants will make it to the next round.

Fik-Shun will make use of a bench and an umbrella for his routine this week to tell a story with his dance moves. Prior to the release of the sneak peek, a promo for the upcoming episode of “World of Dance” also featured Fik-Shun saying that his performance will be one of his toughest routines to date. After all, he will be up against Les Twins, Keone & Mari and Luka & Jenalyn.

Following Tuesday night’s installment, “World of Dance” Season 1 will head to the divisional finals. In this round, two contestants from the three categories – juniors, uppers and teams – will face off against each other for a chance to compete in the world finals. Only one act from the three categories will be heading to the final round of the competition that will air on NBC next month.

The winner of “World of Dance” Season 1 will bring home the $1 million grand prize. As of late, Eva Igo and Diana Pombo have already been named as the two junior representatives who will compete in the divisional finals.

Meanwhile, NBC announced the renewal of “World of Dance” for Season 2 last month. Following the announcement, judge and executive producer Jennifer Lopez released a statement (via Deadline) expressing her excitement. “I am so proud to not only star, but produce a show that is so close to my heart. I am so happy that ‘World of Dance’ has resonated with audiences and we are able to put dancers on the pedestal they deserve. I cannot wait to continue this journey and my partnership with NBC,” she said.

World of Dance” Season 1 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
