WARSAW, N.Y. (AP) _ Financial Institutions Inc. (FISI) on Thursday reported first-quarter profit of $1.1 million.
The bank, based in Warsaw, New York, said it had earnings of 5 cents per share.
The holding company for Five Star Bank posted revenue of $51.6 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $43.1 million, which fell short of Street forecasts.
Financial Institutions shares have fallen 40% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $19.38, a decline of 31% in the last 12 months.
