VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / July 16, 2019 / FIORE GOLD LTD. (TSXV:F.V) (FIOGF) (“Fiore” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce preliminary production results for the Company’s third fiscal quarter (“Q3”) ended June 30th, 2019 for its Pan open pit mine in White Pine County, Nevada.
- Record quarterly gold production of 11,573 ounces, an 8% increase over the preceding quarter
- Gold sales of 11,504 ounces, a 7% increase over the preceding quarter
- Mined ore production in fiscal Q3 slightly above plan at approximately 14,114 tons per day with the stripping ratio at 1.7
- 22,638 man-hours worked, achieving our goal of zero reportable incidents, zero reportable accidents, and zero lost-time injuries. Currently the operation is at 1,138 consecutive days of attaining this Triple-Zero achievement
- Transition from Run of Mine to 100% crushed ore placement underway with commissioning of Pan Mine primary crushing circuit
- Drilling and metallurgical work underway at the federally permitted Gold Rock project in support of a Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) at the end of calendar 2019
Tim Warman, Fiore’s CEO commented, “Our team at the Pan Mine had another record quarter for gold production with over eleven thousand ounces produced without compromising our high standards for safety and environmental protection. This was also the final quarter for Pan as a run-of-mine operation as the new primary crushing circuit comes online. With Pan running extremely well, our focus has turned to our adjacent Gold Rock project which we intend to advance towards development and production, beginning with the current drilling and metallurgical program that will lead into a PEA by year-end. Our plan is to transition directly from a positive PEA to a full Feasibility Study, with the goal at arriving at a construction decision by mid-2021.”
The scientific and technical information relating to Fiore Gold’s properties contained in this press release was approved by Tim Warman, P.Geo., Fiore Gold’s Chief Executive Officer and a "Qualified Person" under National Instrument 43-101.
Our corporate strategy is to grow Fiore Gold into a 150,000 ounce per year gold producer. To achieve this, we intend to:
- continue to grow gold production at the Pan Mine, while increasing the resource and reserve base
- advance the development of the nearby Gold Rock project
- acquire additional production or near-production assets to complement our existing operations
