BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) _ First Interstate BancSystem Inc. (FIBK) on Wednesday reported third-quarter earnings of $49.1 million.
The Billings, Montana-based bank said it had earnings of 76 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to 79 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 79 cents per share.
First Interstate BancSystem shares have risen 17% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $42.95, a rise of nearly 3% in the last 12 months.
