BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) _ First Interstate BancSystem Inc. (FIBK) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $40.4 million.
The Billings, Montana-based bank said it had earnings of 67 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to 76 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 76 cents per share.
For the year, the company reported profit of $160.2 million, or $2.75 per share. Revenue was reported as $575.8 million.
First Interstate BancSystem shares have climbed 6 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $38.78, a decline of nearly 7 percent in the last 12 months.
